Perfect selection
As an adult beginner, it is difficult to find material not intended for kids. This collection offers just a solid selection of pieces to move forward in solo playing. The online resources such as prerecorded performances of all pieces as well as accompanying piano are a superb added value.

wonderful cd included
This book includes a nice collection of pieces transcribed for cello infirst position. Because of some difficult rythms it is for the 'advanced beginner'. The best part is the included cd, with performance by good musicians- it is really a pleasure to play along with the cellist. Playing with accompaniment only I find rather hard, but hopefully I will manage later on ( I am an adult beginner with about two years of cello lessons).
