Ancient relics of a distant past we will never truly understand, yet reveal so relatively much about the history of life as we know it. Unfortunately, Benjamin Bartlett's score to the BBC's Walking With series is still copyrighted, so instead here's Camille Saint-Saëns's Fossils, for saxophone quartet and piano! And it's all yours for less than 8 and a half US dollars!
This movement also features a xylophone part, to truly capture the essence of fossilised bones. (And it was also in Saint-Saëns's original piece.)
