Brings carols to life!
This book is great, and don't believe anyone who says it is not. No more dreary, soppy, boring Christmas carols that drive people out of shopping centres each year. These pieces are light and bright, boppy, springy, and most of all - they are really fun to play. Fairly short, mostly about 2 or 3 pages with all Dans trademark tactics, ie creative use of arpeggios, mixed up with chords, base notes, and block chords and beautifully balancing the RH with the LH. Great arrangements but nothing complicated or difficult. I'm a Dan fan!

Disappointed
This book was not what I was expecting from Dan Coates. I have purchased many of his books and have loved the arrangements, but was very disappointed with this collection of Christmas songs. Most of the arrangements are only one page long. Nothing exciting about this book! I was hoping for his unique arrangements and these are just everyday plain and boring!
