British composer Alice Mary Smith (1839-1884) wrote two large-scale symphonies, the second of which is her Symphony in A minor. This edition is based entirely on Smith’s original manuscript from the 1870s. The edition is highly edited including an update to modern instrumentation and the addition of missing/ inconsistent dynamics and articulations. In addition this set of parts, a full score is also available. As with all Zephyrwindmusic publications, parts come with an Unlimited Copy License, thus removing any potential copyright issues. Parts can be used in analog form – printed on paper – or uploaded as a digital part onto a reading device such as an iPad for performance.
