Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.579033).Strasbourg Rag (also called Strasrag) was written originally as a guitar "ragtime" solo as an upbeat meditation on my leaving the lovely city of Strasbourg (where I lived, sang, loved and taught for 8 months) and my return to the UK.
This flute duo version uses the notes of the guitar original but switches the melody and accompaniment between the two instruments on each successive phrase.
