Tony Jauregui is a veteran music director, educator, and composer/arranger with over 40 years of teaching experience from elementary through university levels. A former graduate teaching fellow in band directing at Northern Arizona University and the University of North Texas, he has also served as a respected adjudicator and clinician across Northern Arizona. As a professional bass trombonist, Tony performs in a variety of styles from orchestra and concert band to jazz big band and brings that versatility to his writing. His commissioned works include arrangements for big bands, trombone choirs, concert bands, and string orchestras. In honor of his lifelong dedication to music education, the music room at North Mountain Middle School was named Mr. Jauregui's Room of Music upon his retirement.
