Composed by Jeremiah Lawson. 20th Century,Contemporary,Ragtime. Score and parts. 13 pages. Jeremiah Lawson #6015397. Published by Jeremiah Lawson (A0.985328).

This is a three movement sonata for ukulele and guitar I composed in 2015.  The work calls for a conventional uke with the usual tuning. The movements are as follows:
I. Presto Moderato "Moving In" is a zippy sonata movement
II. Maestoso "Jury Duty" is a three-voiced fugue with triple counterpoint
III. Menuet and trio "Summer in the Park" is a menuet and trio, although the trio in this case is an original ragtime strain taken up by the ukulele and then the guitar before the menuet theme returns (which is frequently shifting back and forth between 7/8 and 9/8).

The work is roughly 14 minutes long and a recording of the work was done by Daniel Estrem for Magnatune
