Perfect title
Excellent selection of horn solos.

NO horn book
I was disappointed to receive the book only -- meaning only the piano part with small print of the horn part in the key of C for the piano. Although I like the pieces, I have to transpose all the pieces and the page breaks are terrible. I did not realize that I would not get a separate horn part.

This is an excellent selection of solos for the intermediate to advanced horn player. They are great recital or church solos.

Good collection
I have used this book for years both with my students and for myself. It has a nice collection of solos including some arrangements that work very well. My main criticism is that there are a few pieces that could be left out. They aren't of the caliber of the others. Also it would be nice to have a CD with a performance and a piano accompaniment.

Solos for the Horn Player
I am a college horn player. At the price, and how much rep you get with piano music also, its a great buy. Some of the pieces are on the easy side, however there are more challenging ones like Villanelle. What ever your playing ability, there is probably something in here for you.
