Im playing this score with my wind band. Our opinion about the product is overall positive. Indeed, ever if it is a light easy version, we think that the arrangement, the harmonization and the rhythm are good. Let me to make just a couple of remarks, supported by our band director. 1. At the beginning, where the bass clarinet enters, you perform only half of the introduction as expected in the original version: we feel that as a sense of unfinishing. We think that the eight bars intro would gave more completeness to the intro itself and more highlight to the following strophe. 2. During the rehearsal we noticed that the solo is in a range too low for the alto sax and that instrument is not resonant enough. Perhaps it would be better the tenor sax and what's more it can be used because it plays the same line of the euphonium. Of couse these are only our ideas, but we hope to be usefull in your work.
