Skies of Triumph is een compositie voor harmonieorkest die voortbouwt op de traditie van grote symfonische filmmarsen, geïnspireerd door componisten als John Williams en Alan Silvestri. Skies of Triumph is a work for concert band in the tradition of the great symphonic marches of the cinema, at the crossroads of the legacy of composers such as John Williams and Alan Silvestri. From the very first bars, the listener is plunged into a solemn, heroic atmosphere, as if carried by an epic breath from elsewhere.

The title, Skies of Triumph, evokes an ascent - both physical and symbolic - towards light, grandeur and victory. It echoes an army on the march, a people gathered together, or a journey towards an ideal greater than oneself.

The piece is structured around an ostinato rhythm, a recurring driving force that sustains the music's momentum and lends it a constant, almost obsessive energy. This ostinato acts as an inner pulse, a collective heartbeat, while the melodic material develops with breadth, alternating between dramatic tension and lyrical flights.

Skies of Triumph est une œuvre pour orchestre d’harmonie qui s’inscrit dans la lignée des grandes marches symphoniques du cinéma, à la croisée de l’héritage de compositeurs tels que John Williams ou Alan Silvestri. Dès les premières mesures, l’auditeur est plongé dans une atmosphère solennelle et héroïque, comme porté par un souffle épique venu d’ailleurs.
