Shredding Paganini Heavy Metal Guitar Meets 9 Masterpieces by Niccolo Paganini Electric Guitar - Sheet Music
As the follow-up to his best-selling book Shredding Bach, master shredder German Schauss covers yet another all-time great musician. Niccolò Paganini, whose lifestyle and fame were similar to that of a modern rock star, was undoubtedly one of the greatest virtuosos that ever lived. Paganini's practice schedule (15 hours a day), combined with a genetic connective tissue disorder that gave him impossible reach and flexibility with his fingers, resulted in extremely demanding and exciting compositions for shredders of any era. Paganini's works, which showcase his extraordinary skills, are perfect for the heavy metal style and will stretch your playing to the limits. The accompanying online audio features all of the examples, many of which are recorded at multiple speeds, to help you practice and get you on your way to mastering Paganini's style.

Seached high and low for a good guitar transcription of Caprice 5. This is accurate as far as I can tell and the analytical text was quite helpful.

Shredding Paganini by German Schauss is a dream come true for players wanting to explore neo-classical guitar. As a teacher, I especially love the analysis and examples before each piece, which allows the student to easily absorb the material before attempting the actual piece. I have intermediate to advanced students working out of German's Shredding Bach book and was eagerly awaiting this installment. I was not disappointed and highly recommend it to students and players looking to expand their technique and overall musicanship.
