Oboe Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.914138

Composed by Tom Swafford. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 8 pages. Tom Swafford #3575043. Published by Tom Swafford (A0.914138).

Piece in five movements: Lonesome, Hornpipe, Jumping (audio example), Ode, Whirling; in a variety of moods and tempi that highlight many of the oboe's unique possibilities. The last movement is particularly challenging.  At its premiere, oboist Irami Osei-Frimpong had the idea of performing the first movement from off stage. This was quite effective. Duration: ca 8 minutes. www.tomswafford.com ASCAP.
