This arrangement is for two clarinets. It would be suitable for an educational situation involving 2 intermediate students. The piece is in A major and the melody goes above and below the break - break exercise. The accompaniment part has many repeated notes - tonguing exercise. The melody and accompaniment are evenly spread between the two parts and require good co-ordination between the players - rhythm exercise. Although the tune is relatively simple, there are some quite challenging off beats, so it would suit intermediate rather than beginner students. Both parts are on the same sheet and are very clearly laid out with rehearsal marks and written indications of the form - Verse / Chorus etc. There is some information on the page such as staccato notes and phrase marks but it is ultimately a fun piece which can be played freely - as long as there is a good strong feeling of pulse.
