Composed by Peter Lichtenthal. Companion piece to Beethoven Septet. Marvellous melodies. First Edition. Classical. Score and parts. Rosewood Publications #RP 36. Published by Rosewood Publications (RW.RP-36).

Peter Lichtenthal (1780-1858) was a Hungarian surgeon, composer and writer. He was educated in Vienna and from c.1815 lived in Milan. He wrote various treatises on music including two on Mozart and two on harmony. His compositions include three operas, four ballets, chamber and piano works. This Septet uses the same forces as Beethoven's Septet Opus 20 and, like that work, consists of more than the usual four movements.
