An original Christmas hymn with text by Kathryn Hales below.

To Bethlehem the wise men came,

Guided by a shining star

To pay homage to the Babe,

Bringing gifts they traveled far,

Treasures fit for a newborn king,

Myrrh and frankincense and gold,

They, who knew the prophecies

So anciently foretold.

Wise men still seek to find the Lord,

The Christ, the Son of God,

While traveling their own wilderness

Of mortal life they trod.

The seek the Light to guide their lives;

They persist both day and night,

To follow that Star of Bethlehem

Which gives to all its heavenly Light.
