Saints Alive is a musical telling the story of the birth of the Church on the day of Pentecost, showing the dramatic change which took place in the apostles, turning them from frightened and hopeless men to people who turned the world upside down. It comprises 11 songs and lasts approximately 50 minutes.
The number of soloists required may vary different parts can be given to different singers in each song, or a small number of soloists can sing all of the solo parts between them. The named characters are as follows: Angel, Peter, 2 Disciples. The choir parts are written in SATB form, but can be adapted and simplified for a school situation if necessary.
