The French accordionist and composer Frederic Uhry (Strasbourg, 1932) conducts several choirs and symphonic bands in the Phalsbourg area. His compositions are often inspired by the regional folklore of North-east Alsace. This rather easy but thrilling 'Rhapsody 2001' has been arranged for symphonic band by Sylvain Dedenon. Lyrical and swinging tunes alternate in this instrumental fantasy.
