Published by SMT Music (A0.1757347).William Boyce was one of the leading English composers and organists in the 18th century. He composed oratorios, sonatas and chamber works plus 8 symphonies. His works are fun to play and are well written for string players. This is a Quartet based on his Symphony #4. There was no viola part so I created one somewhat in the style of the period. Although this viola part probably is more active than what Boyce would have written.
This piece is a great opener for wedding prelude music or just serves as a fun piece for any mixer or background ambience.
