ANNE, is quoted.,br>It is comprised of three parts:1) a vigorous opening section with organ in which verses 1, 2, and 4 of the Psalm as paraphrased by Stephen Mitchell and Isaac Watts are presented and the hymn tune, ST. ANNE, quoted;2) a brief middle section comprised of psalm verses 3, 5, 6, and 10 for narrator(s) and tubular chimes (opt. handbells);3) a final section for soloists, SATB choir divisi, organ, and tubular chimes which presents Mitchells paraphrase of verses 12-17, beginning freely, building to a glorious climax (in the radiance of your love) and then returning to quiet chant-like material for the final prayer of the text.
