This tonal neo-baroque piece sets itself the task to perform counterpoint techniques (theme, inversion, crab etc.) practically in an easily understandable way within the framework of the school. Heinz Benker, who worked as school music teacher in Regensburg for a long time, thinks, as a practical person, of the possibilities of school and amateur orchestras.
