Spanish composer Sebastian de Albero (1722-1756) left behind only two manuscripts when he died at age 34. One of these manuscripts is recorded here in its entirety: the 6 Recercatas, Fugues and Sonatas. Harpsichordist Alejandro Casal performs the works on this album on a beautiful instrument which was built by Ugo Casiglia and measures 2.5 meters long.
