Arrangements of Princess Alexandra's Minuet are also available for clarinet quartet and saxophone quartet.

Palace Dances was written for the Palace Band, an amateur woodwind ensemble who rehearse near Alexandra Palace in North London. Alexandra Palace was named after Princess Alexandra, later Queen Alexandra, the wife of King Edward VII.
