Need a beginner scale book that goes to altissimo Eb that isn't too frightening for 6th/7th graders. This one along with it's etudes seems to work. Spend between 2-4 weeks in each key. Has preliminary scale exercises, thirds, chords and then 7-8 etudes in each key up to 3 flats and 3 sharps.
