This was originally arranged for a female barbershop (a cappella) quartet with a particularly low bass; the bass part will be a little low for most "standard" female BBS basses. The arrangement as it stands would suit a mixed barbershop quartet/SATB/SMAB group, but could be easily "tweaked" for all female or all male groups as the individual parts do not have huge ranges.
