Primosch wrote his Sonata-Fantasia for Lambert Orkis, who asked for a work for the combination of piano and synthesizer, but the first movement insisted upon being later reworked as piano only. Thus, this set of original theme and 14 variations. Primosch feels that this set is haunted by textures from the recent and distant past, textures specific to the acoustic keyboard. For advanced pianists.
