Accurate, legible, durable.
This urtext edition of the Beethoven Piano Sonatas, edited by musicologist Bertha Wallner in the mid-1900's, is the most accurate (to the composer's intentions) that I have worked with. The music is superbly printed and unique to this G. Henle Verlag publisher. The clothbound hardcover edition should last a lifetime with moderate use as it has a stitched binding and the paper is of moderately heavy stock. This volume contains Sonatas numbered 1 through 15, Opus 2 through 28.

Beautiful edition
This is a very beautiful publication. It is hardbound and stitched not glued for those who are wondering. It opens up flat even though it is a thick volume.
