Gecomponeerd in 1889. Een jaar later kreeg Franz Liszt deze prachtige compositie te zien en stelde wijzigingen voor die Grieg gebruikte en later deels weer verwijderde, omdat men deze te krijgshaftig vond. Tegenwoordig behoort het tot de meest geliefde pianoconcerten. Het laatste deel is het meest interessant: ruwe accordeon en karakteristieke Noorse ritmen.

Composed in 1868. One year later Franz Liszt received this beautiful composition to play through, and suggested some changes which Grieg initially wrote in, and then partly removed because people found it too warlike. Nowdays it’s one of the most well loved piano concertos. The last part is the most interesting. Harsh accordian and characteristic Norwegian rhythms.

Écrite en 1889, cette sublime composition était montré une année plus tard à Franz Liszt, qui proposait des changements que Grieg à utilisés et partiellement enlevés plus tard, parce que on les trouvaient trop militants. Aujourd’hui, ce concerto est parmi les plus aimés pour piano. Le mouvement final est le plus intéressant : de l’accordéon rugeux et des rythmes caractéritiques Norvégiens.

Heutzutage gehört es zu den am meist geliebten Klavierkonzerten. Der letzte Teil ist am interessantesten: ein rauhes Akkordeon und karakteristische norwegische Rhytmen.
