Phases for Trombone Octet Brass Ensemble - Digital Sheet Music

“Phases for Trombone Octet”

“Phases for Trombone Octet” is named for the four phases of change known as the DREC model. The model is based on the work of Swiss-American psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, who introduced her Change Curve in 1969 as a process to understand and deal with traumatic life events. The four movements are titled "Denial", "Resistance", "Exploration", and "Commitment", which correspond to Kübler-Ross's four phases. The music arises from those ideas. Like the process, it is a work of exploration -- not easy, but very rewarding. Advanced level of difficulty, with a performance time of 8:57. Member, ASCAP.
