By Rainer's Rainbow. By Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. Arranged by R G Roth. Baroque,Christmas,Easter,Instructional. Score and parts. 94 pages. Rainer's Rainbow #6433799. Published by Rainer's Rainbow (A0.902150).

Giovanni Battista Pergolesi lived from 1710-1736. The earliest records of this concerto for flute are from a publication of 1750, therefore the piece came to be known after Pergolesi's death. I have created a small orchestra accompaniement to the solo which has rarely been available. In addition to a standard flute in C part (which can be played on a Soprano Recorder), I have included alternative solo music for Oboe d'amore in A (playable on A Clarinet) and Flauta Dolce in G (playable on an Alto Flute in G).
