Composed by David Lasky. Classical,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Individual part. 4 pages. David Lasky #345592. Published by David Lasky (A0.737426).

This is the third in my series of "Peace Prayer" reflections on the war in Ukraine. The present piece is very sparse, mostly in a medieval-sounding and thin-textured vein, particularly in it's main "A" section. It is primarily in D Dorian, with some canonic writing at the lower 12th in the middle of the "A" section. The middle section changes key and is primarily in a contrasting homophonic texture with some unusual chord progressions before returning to a repeat of the "A" section that finds its repose with a final D-Major chord. The recording was made on March 22, 2022 by organist Carson Cooman.
