Kuhlau is best known for his piano music, but he has quite a collection of relatively unknown instrumental music too. This overture to the opera "William Shakespeare" is full of colour, drama and invention. It was previously in a set of innaccurate parts with no score available. These have now been edited and typeset in a modern edition and are eminently playable. Enjoy.
