A perfect piece to inject a note of solemnity into a contemporary program, this work was composed as part of a multi-arts initiative at the New Britain Museum of American Art designed to bring attention to the issue of homelessness. All five instruments - flute, oboe, violin, cello and piano - feature equally in this work, and all are integral to its success.
