Bartok Out of Doors

This is a very fine edition, co-edited by Bartok's son Peter. Containing fewer notes than most of the composer's concert music, it is more accessible to pianists, but still requires considerable skill and a comprehension of Bartok's style. I think several listenings to a good recording would clarify the many moods of this fine suite. It's a little pricey, but worth the expense for such a delightful piano composition.
