By George Beverly Shea. By Swedish Folk Melody. Arranged by Sandy McIntire. Contemporary,Instructional,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Traditional. 6 pages. Sandy McIntire #3456395. Published by Sandy McIntire (A0.697472).

The Swedish folk melody of O Store Gud became the source for the Christian hymn, How Great Thou Art. That melody is arranged here for solo (early intermediate) violin with piano accompaniment. This file contains a solo violin sheet as well as the score for the arrangement.
Popularised by George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows during the Billy Graham crusades, it was voted the United Kingdom's favorite hymn by BBC's Songs of Praise. "How Great Thou Art" was ranked second (after "Amazing Grace") on a list of the favorite hymns of all time by Christianity Today in 2001. It is appropriate for prelude, offertory, or postlude in worship and memorial services. A Performance MP3 of this arrangement is also available at sheetmusicplus.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
