Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763447).This arrangement of the tune St Anne for trumpet and organ can either be played as postlude, or as a hymn concertato where the first 22 bars serve as the introduction to the first verse, and measures 23 to the end are the accompaniment for the final sung verse. For that reason, depending on what context it is used, tempos can be flexible. The organ writing is no more than intermediate difficulty level, notated on two staves but with an independent Pedal. The solo trumpet part is advanced intermediate. This flexible arrangement is well suited to festive and patriotic as well as memorial occasions and Veteran's Day. The performance duration is in excess of two minutes and the full score has a separate one page trumpet attached.
