Love this piece!
This is the original piano music and it's fun to work on. As a pianist I look for patterns, which helps a lot with practice and muscle memory: triplets mostly on count one then on counts 3 and 4 of second measures, motifs going up and down the keyboard, etc. I had most of these in my fingers within an hour. I still have a ways to go for the entire piece. It has a darling melody. It reminds me a bit of Scott Joplin. It's not the version Liberace performed. He added an intro, repeated sections an octave higher, added a motif of Yankee Doodle, and many flourishes. One can add what they want. However, it is fun, it's the original version, and I am enjoying learning it very much. I highly recommend this piece.
