The Best Edition for Chopin

It always feels daunting choosing the right edition to invest in, depending on the composer. For Chopin, I feel Jan Ekier's National Edition is the best. The scholarly research that went into putting these together is unmatched, and beyond that, the books themselves are a pleasure to read from and the pages turn nicely and lay flat. The paper is high quality, smooth and slightly off white, and the print is crisp and dark, which makes the eyes happy, too. I highly recommend this edition for any of Chopin's work. In my opinion, these are the best editions of Chopin's work available.
