Nature, in the broadest sense, is the natural, physical, material world and the universe. The word nature derived from the Latin word natura or naturae, and dates to ancient times and literally means “birth”. When describing nature, we often think of words such as breathtaking, majestic, beautiful, or inherent objects can leave the impression of complexion, oddly peculiar with emotions. The thoughts and images associated with nature events inspired me to create reflective choral pieces called Naturae (wild by nature). Each movement provides the listener with different moods and thoughts of isolated musical examples of untamed elements of our natural world on earth.
