I love these books with
I love these books with the musical friends and the kiddos do too. The digital music is superb and the basic musical concepts that are taught, give kiddos a running start in piano. Because it's lots of fun, and there are 3 levels A, B, and C, the foundation laid is firm. I totally recommend Faber for everything they offer.

I LOVE THIS
I LOVE this series. My students love it and find it so fun! I can skip ahead or review lessons easily and do their favorite songs over again as they gain skills. Sometimes I use the CD, sometimes I don't. But the progression of the lessons is excellent.

Learning wrapped up with lots of fun!
This is a great book to start 5 year olds with. The musical friends are a big hit and my students develop a close musical relationship with them, as they see them pictured on every page.

Great Book
My 4 year old daughter really enjoys this series. The CD Songs are not too fast, and the lessons are not too hard. If you have a limited music background and you try to teach this, it could be rather frustrating. But with a good teacher and a willing student I highly recommend this!! We will be continuing with the next book.

Frustrating, but cute
I love Faber Piano Adventures for my students, so I decided to give this one a go for my beginner 4 yr-old. The thought of the cd was grand! It's a nice book, but there are a few negative things. The tracks on the CD are played so extremely fast, there's no way my poor student's little fingers can keep up. Frustrating. Also, the book itself is not explained in an understandable manner, for teacher or parent. Also frustrating. Otherwise, it's creative and cute. But not user-friendly.

A nice surprise!
This is the first time I have used this method book...my young student is enjoying it so much! It is good to be able to focus on development of hand position and fluidity before getting bogged down with all that goes in to music reading. The CD makes the time enjoyable. After a 30 minute lesson, the little girl has said, It's time to go already???

Great for Beginners
The Piano Adventures series is very kid friendly, and uses a logical and systematic approach. I was very impressed with this book for the young beginner. The included CD provides the cute accompaniment, allowing me to focus on the student. Excellent!

Excellent for young children
This is a wonderful piano method for very young beginners. Children are captivated by the piano friends (Mille, Marta, Carlos, Dallas, and Katie). I like how the method works to shape the hand and fingers and stresses fluid motion in the wrist. The method is wonderful for the short attention spans of young children. I highly recommend purchasing this method WITH the CD. Children adore the short tuneful songs, and the CD makes practicing really FUN!

My 1st Piano Adventure
I am very pleased with this for the young beginner who does not know finger numbers, alphabei, or singing. This encourages all. I have used it with 4 families. When one student is finished, a younger sibling takes an interest.

Highly recommend!
I'm very pleased with this lesson book and accompanying CD. I have two students who are pre-readers and like having activities, songs with familiar tunes to teach music concepts, coordination helps, and the idea of music being fun. I highly recommend this book and CD for young beginners.
