We bought this book based on the description, assuming it was a collection of original pieces using music to make clever, funny, musical jokes. When we received it, we discovered it to be simply a book of classical pieces with garish illustrations apparently intended to illustrate the funny titles of some of the pieces. The description 28 easy piano pieces for children is also misleading. I would definitely say these pieces are more intermediate than beginner. Many other excellent collections of early intermediate-intermediate classical pieces are available for less money.
