"Mr. Blue Sky" was released in 1978 by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) as the second single from the band's seventh studio album, Out Of The Blue. The song, which in many ways is reminiscent of some of the Beatles' master works, was highly acclaimed by critics and peaked on both the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Charts. Due to its massive popularity and use in many TV shows and movies, it's often considered the band's signature song -- so if you need an ELO song for your gig books, this is the one to have! This Cellobat chart for your string quartet features the soaring melodies, interesting counterpoint and harmonies, infectious upbeat groove, and epic symphonic feel of the original for an arrangement that will be just as much fun to play as it is to listen to. Rated advanced-intermediate for some complicated rhythms (mainly in the v1 part) and also for several tempo changes that it might be good to practice beforehand; this will be learnable for students and sightreadable for professionals.

She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world.
