Ever since i heard the Moments musicaux, it have been stuck with me for far too long. especially for the first piece. and how its persumably have been overshadowed by the fourth piece of the series. i just wanted people to know that this piece is one of the best of russian melodicity.

Despite being composed in haste, Six moments musicaux demonstrates Rachmaninoff’s deep understanding of piano writing and emotional expression.
