Merry Christmas, Mozart by Jay Althouse 4-Part - Sheet Music

By Jay Althouse

It's the merry melodies and charming harmonies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, cleverly strung together with lyrics from traditional Christmas carols. Deck the Hall, Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Fum, Fum, Fum, and We Wish You A Merry Christmas (to name a few) are set to some of Mozart's most famous themes. Humorous and classic. Don't miss this opportunity to teach some music history in your choral rehearsals. The fully orchestrated SoundTrax adds a professional quality.

Great fun for Christmas

My mixed voice and age choir love this -familiar melodies and repetitive words often dissolves into laughter, especially if we have struggled with something a little more intense.

Great for seniors

Our group of 38 seniors is having a great time with this because not only are we familiar with the phrases of Christmas lyrics, but are also familiar with the snatches of Mozart melodies upon which they are juxtaposed. Much fun.
