This is my arrangment of three of the most well-known songs by the group Blood Sweat and Tears, an extremely popular large rock band of the late 60's and 70's that featured a horn section and, of course, the vocals of David Clayton-Thomas. This offering makes these hits accessible to the medium of the Concert Band/Wind Ensemble. As with most of my publications, it is my intent to represent the music as authentically as possible, so please DO consult the original recordings. This is Part 1 of the medley; Part 2, which includes "You've Made Me so Very Happy" and "Spinning Wheel" will soon be available separately. They can be performed together, as one selection or alone. You might even program Part 1 earlier in a concert and Part 2 later in the concert. Be sure to print out the score on Tabloid size paper (11" x 17") and the parts on Letter size paper (8.5" x 11").
