March String Along is an easy march for young string orchestras. Insert this piece in between your classics for a lighter touch. You will find this composition keeps all instruments in 1st position and utilizes three part harmony that benefits ensembles lacking adequate instrumentation. Viola and 2nd violin are doubled as are cello and contrabass. This is a very playable and full sounding composition. There are easy rhythms throughout and this composition will show that music does not have to be difficult to sound good and be enjoyable.
