Although, these sonatinas follow the Classical traditions, they are distinguished by being written during the height of the Romantic period by American composer Frank Lynes, 1858-1913. A refreshing alternative to the Clementi and Kuhlau sonatinas and an excellent introduction to sonatina playing for early intermediate and intermediate levels.

Apresenta 4 sonatinas que trabalham ao estilo clssico, com articulaes entre as mos; divertido e o professor poder iniciar seus alunos com essas sonatinas diferentes e interessantes.

5 STARS!!! BRAVO!!! 2 THUMBS UP!!!! You will NOT be frustrated learning out of this book!! I got this as my very first Sonatina Book, it's the best to start with - Frank Lynes! Sounds very much Classical, like Clementi's, BUT it's not that hard like all the others to learn to play and it SOUNDS GREAT, the entire book is so cool, and I got the performance listening CD that goes with this one book, it's also totally cool, because one can listen to all of the piano pieces right off the CD and it's the exact notes, so you can then get the sound of each piece in your head and play along with the CD to make sure your playing all of your notes correctly -- totally the very best Sonatina Book FOR A BEGINNING ADULT or ANYONE TO START WITH, TRULY!!!
