This version does not strictly follow the original’s canonic structure (hence the title), but does keep the basic harmony and uses counterpoint by both composer and arranger. The ground bass over which the music is built is distributed amongst the different instruments to maintain interest. The set comprises full score and parts. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
