Little Rhapsody is a contrasting triptych for solo trumpet and concertband. The warm and gentle introduction develops a lively theme andthe accompaniment is kept light to best underline the soloist's flexibilityand technique. The second movement is more romantic and reveals aserene and flowing melody. The third and last movement elaboratesupon several joyful rhythmic patterns which give the composition atouch of freshness and elegance. Let your trumpet soloist shine withthis first-class item.

Little Rhapsody is een drieluik voor solotrompet en harmonieorkest (of piano). Vanuit de warme en milde inleiding ontwikkelt zich een levendig thema, de begeleiding is licht gehouden om de souplesse en techniek van de solistzo goed mogelijk te doen uitkomen. In het tweede tableau, dat romantischer van karakter is, ontvouwt zich een serene en vloeiende melodie. Het derde en laatste tafereel krijgt gestalte met verschillende vreugdevolle ritmische patronen,die de compositie een vleugje frisheid en elegantie verlenen.

Little Rhapsody ist ein kontrastreiches Werk für Solotrompete und Blasorchester. Die warm klingende Einleitung entwickelt ein lebhaftes Thema mit leichter Begleitung, um die Flexibilität und Technik des Solisten optimal zu unterstreichen. Die zweite, eher romantische Szene bringt eine ruhige, fließende Melodie hervor, während im letzten Satz einige fröhliche rhythmische Muster dem Stück einen frischen und eleganten Touch verleihen.

Little Rhapsody (“Petite Rhapsodie”) est un triptyque contrastant pour Soliste et Orchestre. L'introduction, ample et généreuse, développe un thème allant. L’accompagnement reste discret pour mieux souligner la souplesse et les qualités techniques du soliste.Le second tableau, de caractère romantique, dévoile une mélodie fluide et sereine. Le troisième et dernier tableau évolue sur plusieurs motifs rythmiques dansants qui donnent la composition une note de fraîcheur et d’élégance.
