A note from the arranger:
The difficult rhythms of contemporary praise songs often make them too complicated for the lesser experienced pianist. In order to make this newer Christmas song more accessible for budding musicians, I used larger print, alpha notes, and somewhat simplified rhythms in this abridged version. The appropriate introduction and ending make it a truly beautiful piano solo appropriate for Christmas Recitals, Christmas Eve Services, and family gatherings.
The specific fingering on the parallel thirds in m. 17-20 and 30-33 is a wonderful opportunity to employ the needed skill of connecting them even without pedal. However, the optional overlapping pedaling adds to the maturity of the sound of the entire piece. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
