I used this anthem for Ash Wednesday last year. It is hauntingly beautiful and has a gorgeous cello part with it. I would definitely encourage its use for Ash Wednesday because it speaks of the 40 days. Gorgeous! I will use this again!!

I got to sing this piece maybe 8 years ago, and I still remember it, it gives me chills (in a good way)!

This piece is incredible in its effect - I just listened to it and cannot wait to get it to use for our choir this Lenten season. It is truly beautiful - reflects the feeling of the season very well.
